About The RoleThe Vice President of Growth Operations is responsible for overseeing all major aspects of preparing for, entering, and scaling markets for InStride Health. In this role, you will be responsible for optimizing our company's growth function by owning the tools, processes, and data flows to reduce friction and enable efficiency of our growth function. You will collaborate closely with our executive team, marketing, sales, and operations departments to drive growth initiatives and enhance the overall performance of our business.Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
  • Developing a deep understanding of the regulatory, operational, and customer (payor and referring provider) process requirements associated with entering each new market, and establishing a scalable roadmap for success quickly and effectively
  • Analyzing growth processes and data flows to optimize efficiency and performance
  • Implementing and managing systems and tools for use by growth organization, for the purpose of ensuring operational excellence and high-fidelity reporting on growth metrics
  • Providing Leadership Team with critical insights regarding operational and business performance associated with new market expansion and expansion within existing markets
  • Supporting strong relationship building with payors, ensuring efficient bi-directional management for end to end operational processes
  • Leading implementation of new payor contracts
  • Collaborating with Growth team members and cross-functional stakeholders to align growth initiatives with business development objectives and support the overall revenue goals of the company
  • Leading project and program management of Growth team-specific initiatives and cross-functional initiatives involving the Growth team
  • Building and mentoring a growth operations team (over time), providing guidance, support, and fostering a high-performance culture
  • Key member of InStride Health Leadership team, driving growth goals forward strategically and in ways that support scalability
  • Support creation and delivery of Monthly Business Reviews and Growth Team report outs
  • Support Chief Growth Officer with P&L management for Growth organization
  • Help drive selection, implementation and management of CRM system
  • Gathering competitive and market data to define the landscape and develop key inputs and insights to support strategies for identifying and pursuing geographic expansion opportunities
What You Need To Succeed In The Role
  • Bachelor's degree in business administration, marketing, or a related field. Advanced degree preferred
  • Proven experience in growth operations, business development, or a related leadership role, preferably within the healthcare industry
  • Strong understanding of the pediatric health market and patient referral processes
  • Excellent analytical skills, with the ability to analyze data and use metrics to drive decision-making and strategic planning
  • Exceptional leadership and communication skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate cross-functionally with executives and teams
  • Strategic thinker with a demonstrated ability to develop and execute growth strategies
  • Detail-oriented with exceptional organizational and project management skills.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, managing multiple priorities and meeting deadlines
  • Familiarity with CRM systems, growth operations tools, and technology-driven healthcare services is a plus
  • Experience with successfully executing and implementing payer-provider contracts or partnerships required for Commercial and Medicaid lines of business including experience with Value Based Incentive Risk and/or Shared Savings network contracting models
  • Proven experience with developing, presenting and analyzing various types of financial analyses, contracting models and network engagement in order to make informed strategic decisions required
  • Excellent written and interpersonal communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and professionally in a fast-paced environment; ability to be flexible
  • Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information in a manner that inspires confidence and trust
